France Villa Outdoor Kitchen Project | Integrating Cooking Appliances for Outdoor Living Spaces
This project, located in a luxury villa in France, delivers a custom outdoor kitchen with integrated appliances. The primary objective was to combine cooking, storage, and cleaning functions with premium appliances in a modern stainless steel kitchen system while supporting social and entertainment activities in the villa’s outdoor space. The kitchen features modular design, personalized customization, optimized workflow, and materials selected for long-term durability in outdoor environments.
The villa’s open-plan outdoor layout presented several challenges:
- Appliance integration: Seamlessly embedding Ice machine, Pizza oven and dual-purpose grill within cabinetry.
- Environmental adaptation: Cabinets and countertops must withstand high temperatures, humidity, and sunlight exposure.
- Functional optimization: Clear zoning for cooking, storage, cleaning, and social interaction areas to ensure workflow efficiency.
- Aesthetic consistency: Outdoor kitchen must align with the villa’s architectural and landscape design.
Mellow delivered a comprehensive custom solution:
- Material selection: SUS304 stainless steel cabinets (1.0–1.2 mm thick) with matte powder-coated finish, corrosion- and moisture-resistant.
- Modular design: Cabinets 600–900 mm wide, configurable with multifunction drawers, pull-out baskets, and storage compartments.
- Appliance integration: Ice machine, Pizza oven and dual-purpose grill , all CE certified for safety and compatibility.
- Functional layout: U-shaped kitchen, separating cooking, cleaning, and storage zones.
- Ease of maintenance: Concealed handles, smooth countertops, and removable components for easy cleaning and upkeep.
The client reported improved operational efficiency and satisfaction with storage and appliance usability.Material durability performed well under high heat and humidity, maintaining cabinet structure and countertop stability.
