Mellow Opens Dual Ready-Stock Warehouses for Colored Stainless Steel Sheets
Delivery waiting remains a common problem in the colored stainless steel supply chain. Production queues after order confirmation, limited stock during a demand increase, and delayed replacement material can all affect fabrication, installation, and final project delivery.
To move from an order-driven production model toward advance stocking of commonly requested products, Mellow completed a strategic warehouse upgrade in July 2026. The new arrangement combines an 8,000-square-meter central warehouse in Zhaoqing with a 1,500-square-meter transit warehouse in Chencun, Shunde. Together, the two facilities provide a stronger base for ready-stock storage, regional allocation, and order dispatch.
The 8,000 m² Zhaoqing central warehouse is now fully operational. Zhaoqing is positioned within the wider Pearl River Delta manufacturing region and provides access to multiple production and processing markets across South China. The expanded storage area allows Mellow to plan inventory for frequently requested colored stainless steel products before orders enter the production queue.
The central warehouse is designed for larger-scale stockholding and serves as the main inventory base for subsequent allocation and shipment. Frequently requested standard specifications can move more directly into stock preparation, verification, and dispatch, reducing the time spent waiting for a new production schedule after order confirmation.

Alongside the Zhaoqing facility, Mellow has established a 1,500 m² transit warehouse in Chencun, Shunde. This warehouse supports faster allocation and service for core customers, creating a practical connection between centralized storage and local order turnover.
The two locations have different but complementary roles. Zhaoqing provides the main stock capacity, while Chencun focuses on transit, allocation, and responsive order handling. This main-and-supporting warehouse model can shorten the logistics radius for selected South China orders and allows dispatch planning to reflect the destination, inventory position, and delivery requirements.

The value of the dual-warehouse upgrade extends beyond additional floor space. It supports three areas that matter to stainless steel buyers:
- Supply response: Advance stocking supports faster dispatch of common standard products, while non-standard specifications can be scheduled flexibly based on material and processing requirements.
- Delivery planning: For orders that match ready-stock conditions, the process can move from waiting for production to organizing stock preparation and shipment.
- Quality management: Stainless steel surface treatment and finished-product manufacturing capabilities support connected control across receiving, storage protection, order verification, and outbound handling.

Founded in 2004, Mellow Group operates across stainless steel production and sales, customized products, and engineering design and construction. The warehouse investment continues the group’s long-term focus on delivery capability. It also reflects a wider shift in the colored stainless steel industry: buyers increasingly evaluate not only manufacturing capacity, but also the coordination of inventory, processing, warehousing, and logistics.
With the Zhaoqing central warehouse and Chencun transit warehouse now operating together, Mellow can strengthen advance stocking for frequently requested colored stainless steel sheets and improve coordination from order response and warehouse allocation to preparation and dispatch. The dual-warehouse structure provides customers with more flexible supply support and a more efficient route from stored material to shipment.
