Project Overview

Planning an outdoor entertaining space involves more than adding a standalone barbecue grill. As a villa garden begins to support family dining, gatherings with friends and outdoor entertaining, food preparation, washing, refrigeration, cooking, lighting and storage all become part of the kitchen layout.

For this Moscow project, the objective was to create a defined outdoor cooking area where these functions could be brought together rather than distributed across several separate appliances.

The PLUS All-in-One Outdoor Party Kitchen was selected to integrate a BBQ grill, stainless steel sink, refrigerator, range hood, LED lighting, storage and an electric flip-cover structure into one independent outdoor kitchen station.

Project Challenge

Moving Beyond a Standalone BBQ Grill

A conventional garden BBQ area often starts with a grill. For group dining, however, the actual cooking process involves much more.

Ingredients need to be refrigerated, washed and prepared before cooking. Utensils and BBQ accessories need accessible storage, while used cookware and preparation tools require cleaning afterward.

When these functions are located separately—or remain inside the main house—outdoor cooking involves repeated movement between the garden and the indoor kitchen.

The project therefore focused on a practical question:

How could grilling, preparation, washing, refrigeration and storage be organized into one continuous outdoor working area?

Connecting Cooking with Garden Entertaining

An outdoor kitchen also forms part of the social environment of a villa garden.

Separating the cooking station completely from dining and lounge areas can isolate food preparation from the gathering itself. The layout therefore needed to support cooking while maintaining a natural connection with outdoor dining and entertainment.

For this villa garden kitchen, the goal was to establish a functional center where cooking and social activities could take place within the same outdoor environment.

Solution

Integrating the Main Kitchen Functions

The PLUS all-in-one outdoor kitchen brings the key functions of garden cooking into one coordinated system:

Organizing Storage Around the Cooking Zone

Outdoor cooking also requires space for utensils, BBQ tools, tableware and frequently used accessories.

By integrating storage directly into the kitchen structure, PLUS keeps these items close to the main working area instead of requiring additional standalone cabinets around the garden.

Creating an Independent Garden Kitchen Station
