Mill test certificates, coil numbers, inspection records, and package labels should correspond.

Export Packing: Limit Secondary Damage During Sea Freight

Stainless steel sheet shipped to Turkey may require interleaving, protective film, corner protection, and a moisture barrier according to surface sensitivity. Coil packing should address inner and outer wrap protection, sidewall protection, strap position, and support design. The packing method must also match package weight, forklift or crane handling, and unloading conditions. Documented packing photographs help identify whether damage occurred before packing, in transit, or during unloading.

Architectural Panels: Include Fabrication and Site Handling

Architectural sheet may be sheared, bent, welded, unfilmed, and cleaned on site. The inspection plan should distinguish incoming material defects from marks created during fabrication or installation. It should also define film-removal timing and cleaning methods. Chloride-containing cleaners, metal tools, or unsuitable stacking can contaminate or scratch stainless steel, so handling instructions should support the material acceptance standard.
